Make these easy snowman foam dice as a cut holiday decoration

These snowman shelf sitters are the cutest addition to your holiday decor that you can leave out all winter long!
I purchased the foam dice from Amazon for a very reasonable price. I purchased them in bulk so that I could sell them at our local craft fairs. I prefer these to the ones from the Dollar Store as they are already white. I found the Dollar Store ones need a lot of paint to cover up the existing colors of the dice. However if you only want to make a few and don't mind putting on quite a few coats of paint then the Dollar store ones are a good option. I like to use chalk paint to coat the dice as it gives a nice cover.
Step 2: Paint a face on your snowman, again I like to use chalk paint for the nose. The color I used is pumpkin. For the mouth and eyes I used a puffy paint. They had to sit and dry over night before moving on.
Step 3. Get some light weight spackle-it's important that it is light weight. I tried using a bit of spackle my husband had around and it all ended up cracking. Put some paint in your spackle along with a little bit of water. I am talking just a little bit of water, maybe a tablespoon. Give it a good stir. It still should be pretty thick.
Step 4. I get a plastic gallon size bag- you can use a smaller one if you are only using a little bit. Cut of the tip of a corner and pipe the spackle on the top of the snowman. As it dries it will drip down a little bit more, so don't go to far down the face.
Step 5. As the spackle is still dry place some snowflakes or other small adornments on the snowman's head. I found this great package on Amazon that I used for a bunch of things this winter. Then I place the hat on the snowman's head as well. For the hat I cut a piece of floral foam in a circle, covered it with black felt and glued it onto a black felt circle.
That's it! You have a great little snowman that will look adorable all winter long!
